Description

How about updating the Agile Manifesto, to include global sustainability efforts explicitly? We like to use this workshop to soundboard our thoughts and specific suggestions for updating the values (and some of the 12 principles). We are keen to hear your thoughts, reflections, and ideas. Once we have created common ground, we like to explore how we can actively engage agile teams in our ‘Green IT efforts’; actively contributing to reducing our carbon footprint, reducing energy waste, driving circularity etc. There are many valuable ideas and good practices that teams can add to their backlogs to join the race to net-positive. This workshop helps mobilizing (agile) teams, coaches, PO, Product Managers and leaders to contribute actively to reducing the carbon footprint of technology in their organizations. It brings practical insights for leaders how these efforts can be aligned to achieve corporate sustainability goals. And it sparks can-do energy in each participant to participate in the race to net positive.
