Date & Time

Description

Agile has its roots in a specific cultural context. While the Agile mindset can be argued to be universal, Agile practices have grown over time and are not necessarily as inclusive. Understanding cultural diversity is essential for building an inclusive safe and sustainable team environment. This workshop aims to start a discussion around inclusiveness of various Agile practices. Hofstede Model, Globe Leadership Study and Erin Meyer’s Culture Map will be used as reference models for the different cultural dimensions. The workshop attendees will be encouraged to rethink Agile practices in view of these dimensions, coming up with ways of making Agile more inclusive and safer for everyone.
