Description

Leaders want to get a better oversight and steer - still today many feel they are flying blind. People want to better understand where to contribute - still today many only have a weak understanding of strategic objectives. Alignment used to be the answer – but this doesn’t really work any more. Better plans, clearer objectives, tighter control don’t seem to work as it used to either. We got to stay always aligned in all dimensions. We must find the objectives as we go along. We must be the plan. Collaborative lean portfolio management offers a way to get started and offers a way to keep the dots connected across the increasingly complex and volatile organization. Most organizations can turn things around in 1-2 months. This is the story of how it works and how you can get started. It combines the best of what we have learned from experience with what is needed to navigate under the influence of uncertainty and complexity. It's unique in the sense that we are not aware of any competing approaches of adapting agile and lean portfolio management to a complex world view.
