Description

Self-organising teams are at the heart of the success of Agile approaches - however we often fail to fully empower and support the growth of teams as they adopt, adapt, and accelerate their agile team delivery practices. Agile metrics and measures can get a lot of attention as teams evolve. Some of this attention is progressive (e.g. Team health, psychological safety, value delivery etc.) and some this attention is controlling / negative (e.g. Micro management, individual review etc). Team performance measures should be created by the team, for the use of the team, and not as a management lever. Teams need to be empowered to shape what they need in context to their current evolutionary status.
