Name
Agile Games Lab – Flow Forces: Games That Move Systems
Description

Momentum, Constraints & Delivery Dynamics

In this session, we explore the physics of delivery—what creates movement, what causes resistance, and how to improve flow. Through games that simulate Work in Progress (WIP), queues, and bottlenecks, you’ll experience firsthand the system-level principles that make Agile teams faster, healthier, and more sustainable.
From chain reactions to controlled chaos, these games turn abstract flow theory into tangible takeaways. Perfect for teams struggling with delivery pace, product owners aiming to smooth throughput, and anyone teaching Kanban, Lean, or systems thinking.

Agile Games Lab – Day 1: Momentum Mechanics

Play for Teaching, Transforming, and Solving Agile Challenges

In the final day of the Agile Games Lab, we take everything we’ve experimented with and put it into motion. Momentum Mechanics is where theory accelerates into action. Today’s focus is on teaching through play—whether you're designing a custom learning experience, teaching Agile systems thinking, or helping teams build better products through interactive discovery.

With physics as our metaphorical playground, we'll explore the forces that shape team learning, the inertia that holds us back, and the momentum that drives meaningful change. You’ll leave with games you can use, design skills you can build on, and the confidence to use play as a tool for real transformation.
