Vernon Stinebaker（史文林，美国人长居中国）is a long-term proponent of Agile principles and practices. Starting in 2001 with Feature Driven Development (FDD) and eXtreme Programming (XP), Vernon attended the first public Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course in Beijing, China in 2007 and became the second full time China-based CST in 2010. In 2018 Vernon became Asia’s first Scrum Alliance Path to CSP educator. Vernon is mentor to many individuals who have become Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs) and Certified Agile Coaches (CACs).

As a full-time, hands-on Agile practitioner working as Principal, Agile Practices at Perficient, Inc. (NASDAQ: PRFT), Vernon continues to hone his skills in a real-world context.

Vernon has over 30 years of experience including more than 24 years executive experience leading award-winning software engineering, IT, and operations organizations in China. This allows him to bring broad and rich practical experience to his training, mentoring, and coaching engagements.
