The profession of agile coaching needs clarity on the true value of an agile coach and the associated measurable knowledge, expertise, and skills. Join in as Scrum Alliance Certified Agile Coaches discuss what it means to have agile coaching as a career. We’ll lean into the findings from the 2021 State of Agile Coaching Report.

Bob Galen, Jennifer Fields, Faye Thompson

Join us for a live team coaching demonstration. Participants will then break out into groups of three where one person coaches, the other person is being coached, and an observer gives feedback on the session. The roles rotate, which creates a very interactive learning experience.

With over 250,000 agile coaches working today, many executives are asking how to choose the right one. Even if you are more qualified than half of them, that is still a LOT of competition. Then if you got the job, your message is still clouded by all the other voices in the organization. When we all have similar certifications and use similar techniques, how do we stand out?

In this hands-on session, you will get both insights into and practice on claiming your unique and distinct brand as a change agent. From defying stereotypes to finding your niche, you will learn which approaches set you apart, so that you get hired, and get heard.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
* How to defy agile coach stereotypes
* How to choose a niche
* How to gain differentiating expertise
* How to articulate and broadcast your unique skill
