To deliver innovations and value, software professionals continuously evolve their approaches. Yesterday’s research and experimentation leads to a new normal today – which drives a need for professionals to refresh their skills and experience base. What have we learned over the past 25 years – and where will the future lead the software research and practitioner communities? Will AI or other emergent technologies be a nemesis or nirvana? Walk-in attendees are welcome. Interested attendees may submit an optional one-page position paper (to sdfraser at acm dot org). Position papers might explain personal experiences (positive or negative) with software production from either a practitioner or researcher perspective.
