With the rapidly changing technology scenario, it becomes imperative for Agile Coaches working with teams to support the team’s transition from a project-based mindset to a product-based mindset, along with shifting from an individual performance-based culture to a ONE Team culture. Often, in critical problem scenarios, people start working in silos, creating delays and accentuating a culture of not utilizing the collective wisdom and experience of the team for faster resolution. Sometimes, a lack of collaborative accountability sets teams up for failure as they pass blame and praise. As agile coaches, we often notice these trends during daily calls and product reviews. As a solution-focused agile coach, I have frequently utilized solution-focused techniques to help the team realize their collective goals and have worked with individuals during one-to-one coaching sessions to help them align their goals with the product goals. In this session, I would like to focus on a Mastermind group technique of solving critical issues within the team using solution-focused coaching and facilitation techniques.
