Scaled Agile in SW/HW Development Examples and Learnings
Description

Many large organisations producing physical products see their market share eroded by more aggressive, dynamic and smaller competitors. Some organisations are looking for a way to become more reactive and innovative in the Agile approach. Experiences from these companies show benefits, such as more rapid reactions to changing customer requests, faster product releases and more engaged and motivated people. However, experiences also show limitations in adopting Agile as we know it from software development, when developing solutions that require integration of engineering domains such as equipment, materials, embedded software and services. The talk will focus on how large manufacturing companies integrate Agile with existing engineering development practices. The talk will also show learnings of using a scaled agile approach to development of large solutions in hardware/software development. So, if you are interested in learning about: How can scaled Agile be used in hardware/software development and what are the benefits and constraints? How can scaled agile be organized to meet the need for multi-disciplinary development, crossing traditional engineering boundaries? What are the learnings from fresh examples of scaling agile in a global manufacturing company? Interested in hearing more? Then come and join us!
