The Trojan War: Understand Different Team Contexts and Achieve Better Flow
Description

What if the Trojans lost the war because of bad flow management? This talk introduces the benefits of Lean Thinking and Flow to any team. We will inspect flow (or lack thereof) in ancient Greek stories and provide opportunities to improve value delivery in your own context. We will build parallels to explore three kinds of team contexts (and their associated level of emerging complexity) to provide you with killer tips to boost their performance: 1. Product teams (Athenians) - The backlog of work is reasonably stable, but we are unsure how to get it done. 2. BAU or Service teams (Spartans) - New work emerges often, but we know how to get it done. 3. Hybrid teams (Trojans) - We have a reasonably stable backlog, and new work emerges often; we may know how to get some work done, but there are still unknowns. In this interactive deep dive into real success and war stories, Aurelien inspires you to learn from the significant impact of flow on all aspects of our daily work. He shares pragmatic ways for any team ("Agile" or "Traditional") to improve their flow by embracing Lean Thinking and keeping Trojan Horses out of their walls.
