There is a shared commitment among major stakeholders to build a more sustainable future together. To measure our progress and refine our strategies in an agile manner, robust ESG data and metrics are essential. Sustainability reporting, supported by dependable ESG data, is invaluable for empowering decision-makers in all sectors to direct capital towards positive impact. Notably, the market has witnessed the emergence of software companies specializing in ESG data collection using AI, ESG data estimation through ML, and ESG reporting via software solutions. Nevertheless, the challenges of ESG reporting demand software teams to exhibit high agility in accommodating changes in regulations and reporting frameworks. In this session, I want to share my experiences in developing software tailored for ESG data collection, estimation, and reporting across diverse industries, spanning from multinational hotels to asset management and the broader financial sector.
