Chris Hefley is a well-respected figure in the world of software entrepreneurship, Agile, Lean, and Kanban, notably known for his role as a co-founder and former CEO of LeanKit, software that enables organizations and teams to visualize work by using enterprise Kanban boards and Lean metrics to promote continuous flow of work and accelerate the speed of delivery. LeanKit was acquired by Planview in 2017 and is now available as Planview Agile Place. After LeanKit’s acquisition, Chris became an early investor in Retrium, the leader in software for facilitating Agile retrospectives. His newest startup is Predictability at Scale, co-founded with Troy Magennis to enable data-driven insights and interventions, and strategic alignment for product development organizations at scale. Chris has been a regular contributor to the Agile/Lean/Kanban community through blogs, e-books, and conference presentations, and was a finalist for the Brickell Key Award in 2011 for his contributions. He is also a regular contributor to the entrepreneur community in his hometown of Nashville, TN, and was a finalist for the Nashville Entrepreneur Center's "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in 2018. Chris and his family currently live in Honolulu, HI.
