Agile Essentials: Human-Centered Design
Description
The Agile Essentials session on human-centered design will help attendees focus on prioritizing users through the design process, enhancing product usability and satisfaction. Prioritizing users’ needs and iterating based on real user feedback leads to more intuitive and effective products, reducing the risk of costly revisions post-launch and ensuring that products align with their expectations. Organizations benefit from increased user satisfaction, loyalty, and successful product adoption. Learning to incorporate human-centered design enhances collaboration within agile teams, resulting in faster, more efficient development cycles. After an overview of the topic, attendees will participate in a hands-on mobbing activity to apply human-centered design techniques through a tactile exercise! Agile Essentials sessions are designed for first-time Agile Alliance conference attendees and anyone who’s new to agile or looking for a refresh. Each one provides a broad overview of key agile practices and the principles behind them. You’ll leave feeling grounded, up-to-date on the latest agile concepts, and ready to take on new challenges in any role or any agile framework.
