Autonomy in Action: Strategies for Energized Teams and Exceptional Results
Description

Have you ever wondered what enables teams to achieve their ultimate potential? In “The surprising truth about what motivates us,” Daniel Pink asserts that the deeply human need to direct our own lives is the secret to high performance and satisfaction at work. This engaging workshop explores the transformative power of team autonomy, guiding participants through a journey of discovery, connection, and practical application. Join us for a series of interactive team activities designed to help participants make connections and understand how to encourage team autonomy in the workplace. Our approach is based on the belief that increased autonomy leads to more engaged, enthusiastic team members. This in turn fosters greater accountability and productivity, ultimately resulting in better results. The activities show ways to respect personal preferences while considering the team's desires, promoting individual and team autonomy. Participants will start by surfacing and prioritizing issues that their coachees are most aware of and have the desire to change, through application of the ADKAR change model. Next, they’ll work together to map out an organization’s Agile journey. This aids teams and organizations in gaining a deeper understanding of their current position, fostering insights, and collaboratively determining the next steps in their path. Lastly, participants will collaboratively craft a retrospective on the fly, encouraging people to choose topics and activities in the moment to arrive at immediate actions.
