As CAVU's Chief Agile Officer, McCaul is a known leader in Agile transformation with deep expertise in Scrum and servant leadership across many sectors. Through his experience transforming organizations, from startups to Fortune 100 companies, he has trained hundreds of teams and thousands of individuals in Scrum and Agile. Previously the lead trainer at Scrum Inc., McCaul collaborated closely with Dr. Jeff Sutherland to hone his understanding of the Scrum Master role, earning him the nickname "the Scrum Master Whisperer." A staunch advocate for diversity and equity, McCaul joined CAVU in 2023 to increase accessibility of Agile training and certification for underrepresented and marginalized groups. He also mentors Scrum and Scrum@Scale trainers, instilling these values in them. His dedication to these values drew him to CAVU where their mission is creating accessible training through their Agile Accelerator and Scholarship programs.
