An estimated 15-20% of the world's population are neurodivergent1. Differences in brain processing and function is a natural part of human diversity - so why aren't we building environments to support and celebrate these differences?
Neurodiversity introduces both extraordinary benefits and challenges for teams and organizations. In this playful session, participants will explore the basics of neurodiversity, key benefits and challenges a neurodiverse team may face, and strategies to foster inclusive team environments.
Learning Outcomes:
- Be able to speak on the basics of neurodiversity
- Experience through play some of the different challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals
- Experience the benefits of neurodiverse teams through play
- Explore strategies and techniques to create an inclusive team environment in their workplace
