Nearly all organizations value agility. Most organizations implement agile practices. But, few organizations, or teams within organizations, are truly agile. What prevents organizations from being truly agile is an unseen force that is commonly unexplored and unaddressed, but runs rampant in organizations and amongst their leaders and employees. That unseen force is self-protective fears. In this session, Ryan Gottfredson will (1) identify the most common self-protective fears that exist within organizations, (2) explain why these fears commonly exist, and (3) provide direction on how to uproot and limit these fears to unlock the level of agility organizations desire.
