Name
Not The Same Old Retrospective Panel!
Description

The world has changed. Agile software development has evolved, agility has taken center stage, and Agile Retrospectives are no longer a novel idea. Along with so much else, Retrospectives have changed with the times. For instance, now remote retros are a thing. Who among us are still holding tight to our sticky notes and dark markers?

While the world keeps on changing, we've observed people and organizations getting stuck with retrospectives for similar reasons. These retrospectives tend to fail to deliver much in the way of useful results. If you are a retrospective skeptic, or haven't got the results you desired, we feel you. Been there. Done that.

If you are a retrospectives fan who has seen great results, we applaud you and enjoy learning from your success. We like to share ours too.

Change, challenges, and successes, are all reasons why we've pooled our collective experience together to create this panel discussion. We'll discuss the current state of retrospective practice and invite your questions and comments. Join David, Esther, Diana, and our moderator in this lively interactive session exploring old and new ideas for improving our retrospective practices and outcomes.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Ask questions and get answers from panelists and other participants
  • Learn what pioneers in the practice of retrospectives are thinking now
  • Consider the trade-offs and adjustments between in-person, hybrid, and remote team retrospectives
